"I can't turn my powers off," I remind her, returning her kisses half-heartedly. It's more difficult to ignore her touches but I do my best by running through my Mandorin lessons in my head, a somewhat effective distraction. It's effective enough for my purposes at least.

"Maybe later you can have a reward," I tell her after she kisses me deeply. "After you shower. You're all sweaty and you smell."
