Smiling against the mouth, she yielded to the kiss and reached out to
smooth her hand along his strong, muscled arms. Fingertips light, she
stretched up to slide her hands over his shoulders as moved on top of her.
Looking at him thoughtfully as she stretched out beneath him, her lips
turned a shade softer as she felt his lips brush against her neck. He liked
her hair like this, she could tell- the way he looked at her sometimes now
was different. As if she was precious, she didn't know if that was entirely
to do with her hair but it was interesting- it was interesting that she
liked it. He valued her beyond what she could do, beyond being a weapon.
"You like my hair like this?" Cass asked, panting as she shifted beneath
him. The touch of his lips against her skin making her inhale sharply."You
think I should grow it out like Barbara's? Longer."
